Explore scenic Paros
Extending from the pictorial town of Lefkes, at an altitude of 200m, the 3.5km Byzantine trail has existed as a historical hike. It is an easy, descending route with a stunning view, on a marble-paved path of a thousand years old, originally built to connect Parikia to Marpissa.
Along the path, you cross numerous olive groves and vineyards, while surrounded by strong Mediterranean herb scents.

You walk over a charming three-arch medieval bridge, before reaching the rural town of Prodromos. There we’ll have the perfect end of this hiking excursion, taking a rest and a light meal with delicious mezedes at the local coffee-bar.
